Expedient Training Consultancy has partnered with recruitment training specialist Recruitment Juice to provide online and video support for its recruitment apprenticeship scheme.

Earlier this year, the first dedicated apprenticeship for the sector was given the stamp of approval by examination watchdog Ofqual and became eligible for government funding. The programme includes topics such as assessing candidates, coaching and supporting candidates, building relationships with clients, and understanding how to effectively market job roles.

Recruitment Juice has agreed an exclusive deal with Expedient to provide its situation video and industry expert interview resources.

Matt Trott, MD at Recruitment Juice commented: “We are very excited to have been identified and selected as the preferred partner for online, video-based learning.  Recruitment Juice has been instrumental in training thousands of recruiters around the world and now we will be responsible for developing the lifeblood of our industry.”

He added: “The programme offers recruiters the perfect combination of video, face-to-face and vocational learning and covers all the key areas of recruitment. For the recruitment industry to offer the first sector-specific apprenticeship is a real coup and we’re looking forward to working with our partners on this project.”

Paul Deen, director at Expedient, said: “The addition of Recruitment Juice’s online content has led to a truly valuable and dynamic training opportunity.”

Apprentices who sign up to a scheme with Expedient will have full access to all Recruitment Juice material and will be guided through the resources by an trainer, who will mentor the learner through their diploma in recruitment.
