Recruitment Agency Expo North returns to Birmingham next month following its successful launch last year.
Aimed at those who make buying decisions for their recruitment business, the 2014 event will offer visitors the chance to meet with more than 50 exhibitors, or attend one of 28 seminars and 14 training sessions and the new Sourcing Zone.
The show, organised by Bluewater Events, is supported by all of the major trade associations, including the REC, IPSE, APSCO, TEAM and the Association of Recruitment Consultancies.
Seminars will cover everything from moving to a mobile platform to legal developments such as the Bribery Act. The line-up of speakers includes experts from Google on the growth of video in recruitment, and social recruiting gurus Dave ‘Google’ Hazlehurst of PH Creative and Johnny Campbell from Social Talent.
New to the event for 2014 is the Sourcing Zone, where you can learn how to find hard-to-reach candidates using practical search techniques and tips. The Sourcing Zone will run four times each day, with seating capacity for 30 people at a time; visitors just need to bring devices to work on.
Meanwhile, if you’re looking to grow your business, or thinking of starting a new agency, there will be a number of exhibitors on hand to discuss your financing. There will also be plenty of opportunities for agencies to discuss any issues they may be having with freelancers or contract workers, given this is an area where compliance requirements are gaining in complexity.
There is even an online meeting booking system available at the Recruitment Agency Expo North website, to help plan your visit.
Recruitment Agency Expo North takes place on October 1 and 2 at the NEC and is free to attend, provided you register beforehand. To find out more about the event and to register, visit http://recruitmentagencyexpo.com/birmingham/register
