REC and DWP renew partnership agreement

November 26, 2015  /   No Comments

The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) has renewed a partnership agreement with the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP).

The agreement, originally established in 2012, sets out practical ways to share knowledge and expertise between the public and private sectors to benefit employers and jobseekers throughout the UK and to stamp out discrimination and unfair employment policies. One example of this is the ongoing collaboration between REC members and the DWP to help those who have lost their jobs following the steel plant closure in Redcar access new jobs and retraining opportunities.
