New Parliamentary group to champion self-employed and freelancers

September 24, 2015  /   No Comments

A new All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Self-Employment and Freelancing has launched, with the aim of raising awareness within Parliament about the merits of self-employment and freelancing. By acting as a voice in Westminster, the APPG will highlight the contribution freelance workers make to the UK economy and draw attention to the challenges they can face.

IPSE is serving as secretariat to the group, which consists of MPs from across the political spectrum and is chaired by the Government’s Ambassador for Self-Employment, David Morris MP.
