Manchester entrepreneurs diversify into healthcare recruitment

March 22, 2018  /   No Comments

Manchester entrepreneurs diversify into healthcare recruitmentTwo entrepreneurs have set up their second recruitment business, Leaders in Care Recruitment, after establishing leading Manchester-based recruitment consultancy, J2 Recruitment, nearly three years ago.

James Fowler and James Warburton, who met seven years ago as senior consultants at the same firm, founded J2 Recruitment – a firm specialising in Financial Services, Commercial and Energy placements – in 2015, turning over £1m in revenue just two years later.

Leaders in Care Recruitment, the duo’s new venture, delivers bespoke senior level and nursing recruitment services to the healthcare sector and is a sector both have considerable experience in.

The pair also announce the strategic appointments of Michael Turton as divisional manager from Time Recruitment Solutions and Gemma Gill as principal consultant from Search Consultancy, who will bring over 15 years of Healthcare recruitment experience to the Leaders in Care team, of which Fowler and Warburton intend to grow from their recently fully fitted-out Waulk Mill base in the city.

James Fowler said: “We have founded Leaders in Care Recruitment upon the same principles as J2 – with our commitment to building an exceptional team spearheaded by Michael and Gemma, we strongly believe we can provide an unrivalled client and candidate experience within a typically underserved sector.”

James Warburton added: “We really are thrilled to be adding to our portfolio another specialist business, and appointing dedicated and talented staff. With the key strategic appointments of Michael Turton and Gemma Gill, we intend to grow Leaders in Care Recruitment just as we have with J2, while retaining our bespoke, tailored approach we have become best known for.”

Leaders in Care Recruitment will be operating from the same base as J2 Recruitment at Waulk Mill.

Last year, the entrepreneurs announced plans to accommodate up to 30 employees in their new office, a target for 2020.
