VMA Group, a global recruitment and training specialist for corporate and marketing communications, has opened its new Africa operation, headquartered in Johannesburg.
The news follows the establishment of VMA Group’s operation in Europe, with offices in Amsterdam and Brussels, to cover wider European territories, as well as the April 2015 opening of its new Paris operation.
Commenting on the new office opening, group chief executive, Julia Meighan, said: “Taking our first steps into Africa, along with our operations in the UK, Europe and Asia-Pacific and our strategic alliance in the US, is incredibly heartening – it strengthens our service to our clients and candidates who are searching for global expertise, talent and roles.”
Daniel Munslow, an experienced international communications consultant and trainer, has been appointed to the team heading up VMA Group’s Africa practice. Having worked in both corporate and consulting environments, Munslow brings more than 12 years’ experience within the communications arena.
He said: “I am excited by the opportunity to help build VMA Group’s Africa practice, brand and service offering. As the communication landscape in South Africa continues to evolve, so does the need to source, retain, and develop the top talent we have in our marketplace.”
