Two operating director appointments at Michael Page

Specialist recruitment firm PageGroup has announced the appointment of two new operating directors.

Marcus Johnson has been promoted to operating director for Michael Page Finance.

Marcus joined the company in 2007 as a consultant and was promoted to manager in 2009 for East Reading.

In 2011, he took over responsibility for the East and West businesses in Reading. In his new role, Marcus will be managing Michael Page Finance teams in Chiswick and Reading.

Peter Simmonds has been promoted to operating director of Michael Page and Page Personnel Logistics.

Peter began his career at PageGroup in 2004 and managed Michael Page Procurement and Supply Chain across Yorkshire. In 2006 he opened up the Sheffield office for Michael Page and transferred to Michael Page Logistics in 2013.

Peter will now focus on both permanent and interim recruitment and will manage the Nottingham, Sheffield and Manchester offices, covering the North and East Midlands of England.
