Odgers Interim has appointed Sally Havers to its education practice.
Her new role as a consultant will see her placing interim executives in the education sector with a particular focus on schools, awarding bodies and skills councils.
Havers is a qualified solicitor and has previously worked at city law firm Herbert Smith (now Herbert Smith Freehills), and The Treasury Solicitor, where she did a secondment to the Ministry of Defence.
She is currently the Chair of Governors at Hockerill Anglo-European College in Bishop’s Stortford, which is an outstanding comprehensive and state boarding school. Havers has led the recruitment of both the College’s Principal and Vice Principal.
The education practice at Odgers Interim provides a comprehensive interim service in education management and children’s sectors; including higher and further education institutions, schools, educational charities, awarding bodies, Children’s Services Departments of local authorities, the Department for Education and the Department for Business Innovation and Skills, as well as training providers, the welfare to work arena, learned societies, research councils and institutes.
