Veredus, the search, interim management and development consultancy, has appointed Gavin Best as a new director of its private sector practice.
Best, who joins the company after heading up the private sector interim business at Penna Resourcing, has more than 14 years’ experience at both boutique and major recruitment organisations.
In his new role he will be responsible for expanding the private sector interim business and increasing revenues by developing new and existing relationships, and driving growth strategies to support the organisation’s business development plans.
Best said: “This is a very exciting opportunity and one I’m looking forward to grasping with both hands. I’ve been very aware of Veredus and its fantastic potential for growth for some time. I have extensive experience in the industry across a number of sectors and I feel this will demonstrably benefit the organisation.”
Jerry Gray, managing director at Veredus, added: “Gavin has been on our radar for some time and securing his signature highlights the organisation’s ambition. Gavin has an impressive track record in the industry and has experience of leading major organisations through growth, which is one of the main factors behind his appointment. We’re optimistic that his arrival will signify the beginning of an exciting period for Veredus and we look forward to seeing the organisation develop under his tutelage over the coming months.”
