Executive appointments specialist Forsyth Barnes is celebrating more success as the Startups.co.uk Index for 2018 is released; last year saw the ambitious consultancy reach 16th, and this year they’ve beaten it, coming in at 11th.
The shortlisting was judged on the following things: having an innovative unique selling point (USP); exceptional founders; employee numbers; amount of funding raised; traction to date and growth potential; global ambition.
Scott Parsons and Roheel Ahmad, managing partners at Forsyth Barnes, commented that “It’s a testament to all of the hard work the team are putting in”. The firm has grown from strength to strength, maintaining a quality-over-quantity approach. With an increase of team size to 35, the business has now expanded into new markets, launching a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) branch out of their brand-new Leeds office. This represents phenomenal growth over a 3-year period and is especially impressive given the fact that the business is completely organically funded.
Both managing partners are delighted with the result, given the fact that many of the competition have sought external funding and backing. There is a huge amount of optimism in the business, thus strengthening plans for international expansion into the New York market.
Roheel commented: “This is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and motivation illustrated by our team. We may be the figureheads of the business, but we couldn’t have achieved this without the collective efforts of the team.”
As the company expands, Scott and Roheel have maintained their approach to finding only ‘the right people, to find the right people’ and are currently looking to grow the team with experienced recruitment consultants and recruitment managers too.
