The third annual Recruitment Agency Expo show in London has attracted 2,500 recruitment professionals over two days.
The expo, held at the Kensington Olympia venue, brought together thousands of recruitment agency owners, managers and senior executives with suppliers of specialist products and services to recruitment agencies.
Nearly 80 suppliers, ranging from umbrella companies to RPOs to accounting services providers, exhibited at the show, which was also supported by all of the major industry associations: Association of Professional Staffing Companies, Association of Recruiters, Institute of Recruitment Professionals, PCG, the Recruitment and Employment Confederation and TEAM.
The exhibition covered the recruitment spectrum, temporary and permanent, large-scale multi–site businesses to single site or boutique businesses.
Visitors were also able to attend 35 seminars and 14 workshops taking place on the main floor at the Training Zone.
It was standing room only at the session ‘Become a sourcing ninja: how black belt recruiters use LinkedIn’ hosted by founder and CEO of Social Talent, Johnny Campbell. Chief executive of the REC, Kevin Green, presented on ‘Showing clients what good recruitment means’, and Matthew Rodger from Alexander Mann Solutions spoke on ‘Challenging the perceptions of RPO’.
“Events like this are vital for the industry,” said Kevin Green. “They offer the chance for recruiters to go window shopping but also to catch up with one another.”
Its sister event, Recruitment Agency Expo North will be held at the Birmingham NEC on 1st – 2nd October 2014. To register for the event, visit http://recruitmentagencyexpo.com/.
