Milton Keynes-based medical recruitment agency National Locums has won a place on the new National Clinical Staffing (NCS) Framework.
National Locums will supply locum doctors, nurses and allied healthcare professionals to the Framework, which authorises the supply of temporary, permanent and fixed term clinical staff to the NHS.
The company successfully underwent an independent audit of services and criteria for providing qualified clinical staff who can give high-quality patient care at rates within the pay caps set by the government.
National Locums adds NCS to its already impressive list of Framework agreements, which includes Crown Commercial Services, HealthTrust Europe, Health & Social Care Northern Ireland, NHS Shared Business Services, as well as supplying leading independent groups Care UK, Alpha Hospitals and The Priory Group.
National Locums Managing Director David Cook: “This new agreement means we are now supplying doctors, nurses and allied healthcare specialists to hospitals throughout the UK. As a result, we have become one of the fastest-growing medical recruitment agencies in the country, with a reputation for helping staffing officers ensure their hospitals are properly manned at all times.
“We are particularly pleased to have won these new agreements at a time when the NHS is facing stringent controls on hiring temporary medical staff. A major reason for our success is that we are open and transparent in our dealings with hospitals, sharing information on profit margins, bill rates and KPIs.”
