Recruiters made a strong showing on the prestigious Sunday Times International Track 200 – an annual list of the UK companies showing the strongest sales growth overseas.
The top-ranked staffing company on the list, energy recruiter Spencer Ogden, came in fifth, with average international sales growth of 237%. The agency has opened offices in Cape Town, Dubai and Singapore this year, and has plans to expand into Brazil, Russia, China and West Africa.
It was joined on the list by other recruiters in the energy sector – reflecting the increased need for specialist skills in this area. Petroplan, which recruits across five continents, ranked 90th on the list, with growth overseas of 53.5%. Staffgroup, which recruits for the energy sector as well as technology and finance professionals, came in at 78.
