Tempo, the alliance for recruitment agencies and hirers, has elected eight members to its Steering Group committee.
At its latest annual general meeting, four existing agency members were re-elected and four new ones voted onto the committee.
The Steering Group is led by tempo Chair Keith Faulkner CBE (pictured) and includes representation from end-user clients and a member of de Poel’s management team.
The group was launched in 2013 by de Poel, a provider of 40,000 temporary workers each week, and since its launch, the alliance has made significant progress in achieving recognition for the high standards achieved by more than 60 members.
Commenting on the appointments, Faulkner said: “Since its launch in 2013 tempo has achieved a great deal, most notably bringing together a dedicated membership base with a genuine commitment to driving up the standards across the industry.”
“To move to the next stage of our development we need to stay close to all of our members through our Steering Group so I am delighted that four of our founding Group have been re-elected and will provide continuity while we welcome the fresh perspectives that our four newly elected members will bring.”
The four new members are Marion Butterworth from Redline Recruitment Group, Steve O’Brien from Inivio, Matt Rawlinson of Grafters Recruit and Michael Walker of Industria Personnel Services.
