China office for NES Global Talent

RA Now

NES Global Talent has opened a new office in Shekou, South China.

The recruiter is expanding in China and the new office will act as a regional hub for business activity across the south of the region, allowing NES Global Talent to grow not only in Shekou, but also in other key locations such as Zhuhai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou.

“South China is strategically important to us,” said Joshua Schrijvers, divisional manager (pictured).

“The potential in China is huge. There are many opportunities for us in both the north and south of the country, particularly in coastal cities. Chinese fabrication yards in these locations are winning more and more business from international owners and operators. These projects all need contractors with specific skills, which can be challenging.”

NES Global Talent’s Shekou office will be managed locally by Darren Pang, senior consultant, who has more than eight years’ oil and gas recruitment experience and was previously based in NES Global Talent’s Singapore office. NES Global Talent plans to make further hires during the course of 2014.

In addition to Shekou, NES Global Talent has 43 offices in 26 countries around the world.
