Nicola Andrews, an established head of talent with extensive experience in the City and FTSE household name organisations, has joined Digby Morgan to manage its interim business.
Formally of the Prudential, LIFFE/Euronext/NYSE and Tate & Lyle, immediately prior to joining Digby Morgan, Andrews (pictured) was the head of talent, development and acquisition at LCH.CLearnet, the independent clearing house that serves the major international exchanges.
“I’ve always had a real love of the recruitment and talent side of the HR business – which I consider one of the most positive aspects of what HR can contribute,” she said.
“From a client perspective, I understand and appreciate the pressures and the nuances of HR roles and can empathise with the profession as it seeks to bring new talent into the organisation. Additionally, from a candidate viewpoint, I’ve been there and believe that I’m exceptionally well qualified to advise and counsel candidates on career paths, opportunities and approaches.
“Personally, I was looking for a new challenge and I’m thrilled to have found this fantastic opportunity with Digby Morgan to lead its interim team during what is gearing up to be a significant period of growth – our interim business is already up around 40% on this time last year.
Digby Morgan’s CEO, Alistair Cook, added: “Our mantra has always been that we are a business run by HR professionals solely for other HR professionals and Nicola is the embodiment of that and is already adding a unique and invaluable dimension to our business.”
