Core-Asset Consulting increases its expertise

Leading financial sector recruiter Core-Asset Consulting has strengthened its asset servicing credentials with the appointment of Rachael O’Neill to the newly-created position of Business Manager, Financial Services.

Reporting to Louise Powrie, Director of Financial Services, Rachael will be responsible for the recruitment of all permanent asset servicing roles at a mid to senior level. She will also manage the accounts of asset servicing clients, maintaining and extending Core-Asset Consulting’s strong reputation in this area.

Rachael has worked in the recruitment industry for over 12 years, the last seven of which have been within the asset servicing sector. Her appointment brings the total number of employees at Core-Asset Consulting to 36.

Louise Powrie, Director of Financial Services, Core-Asset Consulting, said: “Scotland’s asset servicing sector continues to grow, and with it an increasing demand for experienced specialist staff – particularly within oversight functions of third party administrators and global custodians. These roles can be very technical.

“As a result, hiring organisations and potential candidates need to be supported by consultants with the requisite levels of knowledge and experience. Rachael has well over a decade of recruitment expertise, with the bulk of these focused on asset servicing. She has a fantastic track record in supporting clients and delivering a positive experience for candidates.

“Rachael’s values also closely align to Core-Asset’s service-not-sales approach to recruitment. I’m confident she will make an immediate and positive impact and I welcome her to the team.”
