Blusource expands and hires three new recruiters

Blusource, which provide recruitment and advisory solutions to the professional services and commerce and industry markets has hired three new recruiters and expanded to the East of England.

Emma Mellors, Daniel Blount and Tom Spencer (pictured, left to right) have joined the company, which is looking to enter new markets.

Mellors will join Blusource Legal in the company’s Nottingham office, and will be responsible for providing the one-stop-shop for law firms looking to expand, including the supply of support staff such as paralegals and legal executives.

Daniel Blount will join Blusource Accountancy, covering the East Midlands and establishing a base for the East of England in Cambridge. And Tom Spencer will cover the South West from the Bristol Branch of Blusource Accountancy.

The firm has offices in Nottingham, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Bristol.

“The appointment of Emma, Daniel and Tom comes after an exceptionally busy end to 2013 for Blusource,” said Andrew Springhall, chief executive. “Add to this the fact that we saw a 50% increase on our Q4 2013 instructions in the first week of 2014, and it just goes to show that we’re ready to respond to our clients demands.

“What we’re seeing is a more fluid marketplace. Over the last five years many people have been happy to ‘sit on their hands’ in a job – this is now changing, and candidates are more confident about looking for new positions.”
