SRiCheyenne appoints CEO of new practice

SRiCheyenne appoints CEO of new practiceSRiCheyenne, the executive search consultancy for the digital, media, entertainment and sport sectors, has appointed Jay Hussey as CEO of its newly created business.

Meanwhile, SRiCheyenne’s current CEO and founder, Pat Mastandrea, moves into a new role as Vice Chairman.

SRiCheyenne was recently launched following the January merger of the US-based media and content recruitment experts Cheyenne Group and UK-headquartered SRi (formerly Sports Recruitment International).

Jay joins SRiCheyenne from Odgers Berndston where he led its US Technology and Digital Transformation practices. As CEO, he will look to harness the combined power of SRiCheynne’s track record to help businesses capitalise on the convergence of the digital, media, entertainment and sports industries.

Jay has more than 15 years’ experience in executive search with leading global firms. Prior to his role at Odgers Berndtson, he was Founder and Managing Partner of NineSeven Partners, an executive search and talent consulting firm which he merged with Odgers in 2015.

Before his career in search and assessment, Hussey served as President of Digitas West, the regional operating unit of Digitas, Inc., a publicly traded technology and marketing services company.

Hussey has also held a number of senior marketing and strategy setting roles at Clarion Marketing Consulting and PepsiCo.
