Sellick Partnership appoints new director

Professional services recruitment firm, Sellick Partnership, is continuing to build on its national success with the appointment of Nikki Kinsey as a director of the business.

Nikki, who started with the business as a recruitment consultant in 2005, has been instrumental in the success of the Midlands division, which operates from its offices in Derby and Stoke. During her time at Sellick Partnership, Nikki has successfully built up the company’s hugely successful public-sector division, overseen the creation of the new Housing & Property Services division, and has been actively involved in ensuring the future growth of the business.

In her new role as director, Nikki will continue to lead the Midlands division as well as working closely with managing director Jo Sellick and the rest of the Board to ensure the future growth and success of the business as a whole.

Speaking about her new appointment, she said: “I am delighted to join the Board of Directors at Sellick Partnership and look forward to continuing working with them to ensure our future growth. In my new role I hope to help us achieve our ambitious growth targets across our seven offices. We have a tremendous opportunity to continue to strengthen our specialist sectors through our outstanding level of service and strong business values.”

Since moving to Derby in 2009 Nikki has become an intrinsic part of the Derby business community. She has been honoured in the Derby Telegraph’s 100 Inspirational Women list three times in 2017, 2016 and 2015, and in 2016 she was appointed to the Board of Trustees at me&dee – an award-winning Midlands-based charity set up by Maria Hanson MBE. Nikki has also been on the judging panel of the Not-For-Profit Organisation Award for the Derby Telegraph Business Awards for the last 5 years.

Jo Sellick, managing director of Sellick Partnership, said: “Nikki has proven herself to be a positive role model both internally here at Sellick Partnership and externally across the Derbyshire area, and we are honoured to have her sit on our Board of Directors.

“Nikki’s progression from recruitment consultant to director is testament to her commitment and strong work ethic since she started with the business in 2005. She has successfully led our Midlands division for 9 years and continues to play a pivotal role in ensuring Sellick Partnership remains a recognised and respected business across the UK. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Nikki to the Board and wish her every success in her new role.”
