ICT and engineering recruitment consultancy, Roc Search has named Jodie Gale as the first female to join its board of directors. Gale, 25, started at the company as a trainee recruitment consultant in 2010, and in 2012 began managing the Southern IT Contracts team.
Roc Search’s managing director, Conor Roughneen said: “Jodie has been a real asset to the company since she started and I am proud to be able to ask her to join the board of directors. She works hard and leads her team well. The results her team produce are evidence of this and she is so supportive to every one of them.
“She also has some great consultants in her team who are on a similar progression programme to Jodie, and who we hope will be some of the next generation of managers and directors at Roc Search.”
Gale said: “When I started at Roc Search I knew the opportunity was there to be successful but at the time I was young and wasn’t really looking too far into the future or at starting a career as such. Looking back now I can’t believe what I’ve achieved in five years and I know there aren’t many other companies that offer the benefits and fast track to management opportunities that Roc Search does.”
