Renewables specialist launches national recruitment firm for the sector

Renewable energy industry specialist David Hunt has launched a recruitment company aimed at matching the sector’s most successful businesses with the best talent.

Liverpool-headquartered Hyperion Executive Search acts for clients and candidates across a wide range of renewable energy sub-sectors including solar PV, solar thermal, heat pumps, biomass, wind turbines and fuel cells.

Specific disciplines the firm recruits for include general and senior management, sales and business development, operations and logistics, marketing, finance and asset management, design and installation at a senior level.

Hunt was previously a director of an award-winning renewable energy installer, during which time he was also vice-chair of Onsite Renewables for the Renewable Energy Association (REA) and a member of the Parliamentary Renewable and Sustainable Energy Group (PRASEG).

He has also worked extensively in the recruitment industry sourcing and placing candidates both nationally and internationally, and takes on the role of managing partner with Hyperion.
