Red Eagle announces new Group Finance Director

Kent-based recruitment firm Red Eagle has announced the recent appointment of Jason Alderson as Group Finance Director.

The company has grown considerably over the past six years and Alderson’s appointment to the board of directors will help strengthen the core skills necessary to help keep pace with the company’s developments in the coming years.

A chartered accountant and qualified auditor, Alderson joined Red Eagle as Finance Manager in January 2013, having previously gaining a wide range of accountancy skills and experience with a Canterbury-based chartered accountancy practice.

Alderson’s first project at Red Eagle was to bring all the previously outsourced finance functions in-house. Red Eagle has since reported year-on-year growth and the finance team has played a significant role in supporting all areas of the business, from payroll and invoicing, to credit control and management accounting. He has successfully overseen a number of large changes within the industry in this time, including the introduction of real-time information and pension auto-enrolment. Alderson is also a member of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals.
