Petroplan, the global recruiter for the oil, gas and energy industry, has established its ninth international office in Dubai, UAE.
The new office is Petroplan’s second facility in the Middle East and will serve as a hub for the company’s activities across the region.
Based in Jumeirah Lake Towers, the office will be headed up by Monika Pál. Previously a senior contract and mobilisation consultant at Petroplan’s UK head office, Monika has a wealth of experience managing and supplying contractors in the region. She also brings with her an extensive network of contacts, as well as a familiarity with local requirements and culture.
Andrew Speers, managing director at Petroplan, said: “This is a major step towards our vision of providing the industry with a seamless global resource, whereby oil and gas companies rely on Petroplan’s expert energy connections to recruit from all over the world, supported by our ground presence in local hubs.
“Dubai is a fantastic place to do business. This new hub will allow us to make the world that much smaller and connected for our global clients and contractors as they look to take advantage of opportunities in the region and beyond.”
