Michael Page promotes Paul Sykes to senior managing director

Global recruitment firm Michael Page has promoted Paul Sykes to the position of senior managing director.

He will be responsible for Michael Page Marketing, Digital and Human Resources.

Sykes has worked at the company for 17 years, originally joining Michael Page Sales and Marketing as a consultant.

In 2000, he launched a Michael Page office in St Albans and subsequently became operating director in 2004.

In 2007, he was promoted to regional director and then managing director in 2009. In 2013, Sykes helped separate Michael Page Digital out of Michael Page Marketing as a standalone business.

Oliver Watson, managing director at Michael Page said: “Paul’s promotion is the result of spectacularly consistent results over a sustained period, and a commitment to developing both his business and the people in it.

“Paul is determined to support the broader development of the UK business and I know it’s a quality that he will continue to bring to the UK board of PageGroup.”
