Manchester recruiter hires internal development coach to help expansion

Manchester-based consultancy Frazer John Recruitment has announced an ambitious expansion following five years of rapid growth.

As part of its growth plans, internal talent development coach Anthony Ladbrook has been recruited.

The company is also set to open a second office in London and increase its workforce within the next six months.

Established in 2011 by John Dyson (pictured), the company has experienced 100% year-on-year growth since its first day of trading, with revenues of £10m expected by the end of the year.

Having placed 210 people into new careers during 2015, the business is now looking to strengthen all areas and double its number of employees, encompassing HR, marketing, technology and finance recruitment areas.

Frazer John Recruitment currently employs 27 people from its Manchester base, and the intention is to expand to 40 people by the end of the year and 60 by 2018.

Founder Dyson is bullish about the firm’s growth aspirations and believes the success-to-date has been very much about the culture of the business and the flexibility of his growing workforce.

Thanks to Ladbrook’s appointment, the business will assume control of its own learning and development training and the career progression and retention of its employees.

“In line with our growth plans, we have appointed a dedicated talent coach for our employees, ensuring we futureproof our talent pool and provide real career progression. We have put in place the people development plans alongside a working environment that is completely agile,” said Dyson.

“It was important that as we were scaling and at the point of moving premises, we had the infrastructure and training in place that would allow us to accommodate new members of the team and that needed the flexibility of mobile working, as well as the ability to replicate our Manchester model in a second location.

“By the end of October we hope to be fully functioning with our London-based team in situ.”
