Midlands-based recruitment consultancy, Macildowie, has appointed a new associate director alongside several new consultants and support staff following a strong quarter of growth.
Chris Huffen, who joined the company in 2011 as part of the Macildowie Graduate Training Programme, has been promoted from his previous role as a divisional manager to the position of associate director.
Macildowie’s managing director, James Taylor, commented on Chris’s promotion: “Since joining the business in 2011, Chris has become an integral part of our team, helping to set up our office in Milton Keynes and seeing a hugely impressive 100% growth in the number of candidates his team has helped to place over the previous two years. This promotion is a great recognition of his hard work from his first day on our Training Programme.”
Further promotions at Macildowie will see Sam Hancock, Charlotte Dale and Ben LeRoy take up new roles as senior consultant, business systems manager and HR manager, respectively.
James elaborated that the promotions would enable Macildowie to build on its success from the previous financial year, when the company achieved close to double digit growth. He continued:
“We are celebrating Macildowie’s 25th anniversary this year and we are determined to make it our most successful yet. We saw strong growth in 2017 and these promotions will enable us to offer an even better service to clients and candidates. It’s great to reward the hard work and excellent results of our staff.
“We are also excited to welcome our first graduate intake for nearly a decade this September. This has been another big investment for us, we believe it will be something which really sets Macildowie apart from our competitors.”
