Key appointments at de Poel

Key appointments at de PoelDue to continued rapid business growth – and after a recent management buyout – recruitment outsourcing specialist de Poel has made a duo of key appointments.

James Parker and Tim Flanagan have both recently joined the group, bringing with them a wealth of expertise. Their appointments will see them assume responsibility for leading business development, and strategy and commercial, respectively.

As Director of Business Development, James joins de Poel following a successful career in recruitment across both temporary and permanent placements into varying verticals, and providing sales and general management leadership for one of the world’s largest outsourcing companies.

With multiple awards and accolades testament to his business development skills and commercial acumen, James attributes his success to fully understanding a client’s needs and unequivocally delivering a solution that exceeds them.

He commented: “In what marks a pivotal stage in the business’s development, I’m looking forward to leading continued growth in line with expansion plans, as we strive to define further innovative solutions that will benefit both our client and agency stakeholders.”

Tim joins de Poel as Director of Strategy and Commercial, with considerable director-level experience gained through strategic consultancy assignments and holding senior management positions in FTSE 100 companies. He has previously held directorship positions at Serco and Capita, as well as being a managing partner of a strategic management consultancy business.

Tim will be responsible for driving value across de Poel’s existing client base, as well as developing further commercially relevant and viable propositions to add to the organisation’s current solutions portfolio. Additionally, he will be responsible for strategic development to ensure de Poel continues to meet the needs of its clients.

Tim said: “I am excited to be joining de Poel at this phase of its development. The organisation is currently modernising its solutions, which provides a great platform for the next stage of the company’s development. I am looking forward to bringing my consulting experience and expertise gained in an outsourcing environment to drive further value for our customers and stakeholders.”
