John Nestor appointed as associate at pensions specialist

City Noble, the independent pensions and investment advisory firm, has appointed John Nestor as an Associate.

With over 15 years’ experience in senior management positions with asset management businesses, Nestor will support City Noble in delivering an unrivalled independent advisory service for pension funds and charities. 

His experience covers both public and private sector clients in defined benefit and defined contribution pension provision. He was previously a Director at Law Debenture where he was a Trustee and advisor.

Prior to that he was Managing Director, Head of UK & Ireland at UBS Global Asset Management, responsible for all aspects of managing a business responsible for investing over £100 billion of client assets.

Nestor has also held roles as Principal, Head of Distribution at Hewitt Associates and as a Managing Director at Citi Group.

Alexandra Noble, founder and Managing Director of City Noble, said of the appointment: “John brings a wealth of experience in governance, leadership and guidance, and he will be instrumental in helping us deliver strategic advice to our clients.”
