HR4UK appoints two new senior managers

Leading HR and employment support company HR4UK has appointed two new senior managers as it continues to build on its 35 year track record.

Joe Janda has been promoted to become head of operations and Paul Martin has been recruited as head of business development.

In his new role, Joe leads the company’s HR and employment advice and support operations, including taking the lead in developing cloud-based electronic employment handbooks and contracts of employment. He is also responsible for managing supplier and procurement contracts and for all the company’s facilities management. In addition, he provides specialist HR and employment advice to clients, building upon his extensive experience in managing HR issues at a senior management level.

Paul Martin has taken responsibility for expanding HR4UK’s client base of SMEs across the UK. He brings more than 30 years of sales, marketing and customer relations experience, having spent the past twelve years working in similar roles within legal and compliance services for Citation Ltd and Bibby Consulting & Support Ltd.

He said: “HR4UK provides a very tailored and personal service for its SME clients, saving them time and money. I am looking forward to helping the company to go from strength to strength.”

Joe Janda added: “The most rewarding aspect of my new job is receiving positive feedback from our clients, complimenting the company on providing practical, friendly and professional advice and support services which enables clients to more effectively manage their employment and HR issues.”

As part of HR4UK’s senior management team, both Joe and Paul will play a key role in the expansion of the company. They report to managing director Angela Clay who was appointed in October 2015 to lead HR4UK in the next phase of its development.

From employment contracts written on typewriters through to supplying online HR services in ‘the cloud’, HR4UK has helped employers to produce more than 250,000 contracts of employment since it was founded in 1980.

Employment law solicitor Angela Clay joined HR4UK three years ago. Her legal background has enabled HR4UK to expand the services it offers to its clients.

Angela commented: “I am delighted to be able to announce these appointments as part of the new leadership team at HR4UK. The experience and expertise that Joe and Paul bring to the organisation will help us to constantly improve the service we offer to SMEs.”

The expansion of the management team has allowed HR4UK founder Peter Abraham to fully retire from the business, having already reduced his involvement when Angela took on the role of managing director.
