Growing healthcare business appoints public sector heavyweights

Talent HCM has gained two new advisory board members for its expanding healthcare business.

Professor Duncan Eaton (pictured), former chief executive of the NHS Purchasing & Supply Agency, and Gill Galliano, former CEO of Lewisham Primary Care NHS Trust, will advise the recruitment outsourcer about the healthcare sector. This follows Talent HCM being awarded a place on the new Agency Nurses and Social Care Workers framework agreement.

“To make sure we are aware of existing and forthcoming challenges in this demanding environment, we have appointed two people with unparalleled experience of the UK’s healthcare sector to support us,” said Mike Trevor, CEO of Talent HCM.

Eaton has over 40 years’ experience in NHS senior management positions and was chief executive of the Bedfordshire Health Authority from 1992 to 2000. He has also advised the Cabinet Office and government departments on purchasing and healthcare issues.

Gill Galliano has over 18 years’ experience as both a finance director and chief executive, and is currently a governing body member for Primary Care Commissioning (Community Interest Company), and an Audit Committee member for the Children’s Commissioner for England.
