Recruitment giant Glassdoor has appointed Carmel Galvin its new Chief Human Resources Officer. With over 25 years’ HR experience, Galvin has previously worked for multi-nationals such as Deloitte, Advent Software and Barra (now MSCI Barra).
While at Advent Software, Galvin served as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer overseeing the company’s global people strategies and programs. Prior to that, she was Deloitte’s VP of talent and culture for the company’s New Venture Accelerator, advising a growing portfolio of innovative companies on how to scale and adjust their culture and talent programs. She has also served as the Global Head of HR for Moody’s KMV and Barra Inc.

A native of Ireland, Galvin received her bachelor’s degree in political science and business from Trinity College Dublin and master’s degree in Business Studies at the University College Dublin’s Smurfit School of Business.
