Caval chooses Hull for expansion

Construction recruitment specialist Caval has selected Hull as its next city for expansion. The firm, which has offices in Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle, has secured a new city centre office in Norwich House, Savill Street. The company has appointed Ellis Branagan to head up the office – Branagan joins Caval with four years’ experience in construction recruitment in Hull. The company is planning on creating further jobs to add to the team over the coming months.

Managing director Graham Hunt said: “We considered a number of potential UK sites but Hull is the key city we want to expand into, given the huge investment in it as the City of Culture 2017, the availability of highly-skilled construction workers and the city’s transport links from London and the North.”

Caval specialises in placing candidates across the construction, civils, mechanical & electrical, technical, rail and facilities management sectors.
