Cardea, Barker Ross’s healthcare recruitment business, is being brought under the direct management of the Barker Ross management team.
Cardea will also now expand into Barker Ross offices across the UK, and to staff the new teams, Barker Ross is recruiting at all levels in Leeds, Nottingham, Milton Keynes, London and Cardiff.
Cardea has operated to date as a standalone healthcare recruiter, part of the Barker Ross Group but with its own management team.
Barker Ross managing director, Antony Rowe, who will take charge of Cardea, says: “Everyone in our business is given a brief to recruit for one sector at a specific level so they really get to know candidates and clients. I intend to apply this methodology to Cardea.”
Barker Ross Recruitment incorporates construction, civil engineering, technical, plant, piling, rail and property, and facilities management.
Paul Ross, CEO and founder of Barker Ross says: “Healthcare is a demanding business to recruit for so I’ve put Cardea under the direct control of Barker Ross Recruitment as that business has performed exceptionally well through the recession, expanding whilst maintaining quality standards.
“I’m confident about Antony’s ability to take Cardea forward. It’s an exciting time to be at Barker Ross.”
