Armstrong Craven appoints Tom Mason as new CEO

A global talent mapping and pipelining specialist has appointed a new CEO to spearhead its plans for international expansion.

Tom Mason has joined Armstrong Craven from his previous position as senior vice president at Pontoon Solutions, part of The Adecco Group.

Armstrong Craven, which is backed by private equity firm Livingbridge, works with multinational organisations in the UK and internationally providing them with a range of talent mapping, pipelining and insight services.

 The company’s principal offices are in London, Manchester and Singapore and its key sectors include Healthcare and Life Sciences, Technology, Consumer, Industrial, Financial and Professional Services.

Tom said: “I am delighted to be joining the company at such an exciting time. We have laid firm foundations to continue to build the visibility of the Armstrong Craven brand across all of its sectors and on a global scale.

“During the last three years, we have established ourselves in the Asia Pacific market following the opening of our Singapore office and we will be actively opening further offices elsewhere over the coming months as we cement our international footprint.”

Tom will be responsible for the development and implementation of Armstrong Craven’s strategic vision which includes future innovation in talent acquisition services and the harnessing of best technology to ensure the highest standard of client service.

He will be looking to build upon recent high-profile global assignments including the award-winning work it undertook in partnership with Microsoft which enabled the technology giant to successfully scale up its cloud business Azure.

In less than six months, over 2,000 senior and specialist candidates had been sourced and more than 300 roles filled with activity across 25 markets in Europe, India, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Africa.
