Duncan Cameron, group managing director of Cue Personnel, has been appointed to the Association of Recruitment Consultancies (ARC) Committee.
Adrian Marlowe, chairman of the ARC, said: “We very much welcome Duncan.
“He has a great background with a strong interest in the positives of recruitment, further strengthening our steering committee as we press ARC’s objectives to promote and support the recruitment industry.
“This is particularly relevant when the industry faces possible division and appears once again to have become a political football. The need to press for the right kind of changes and simplifications becomes ever more important.”
Cameron said of his appointment: “I am delighted to join the ARC committee at this important time. As the general election draws nearer, the ARC becomes a particularly valuable trade body for the sector, providing an important and sometimes rare platform and voice for a much maligned industry.
“The Association’s emphasis on continuous lobbying on key legislative issues and employment matters which affect our industry, is particularly appealing, and I look forward to helping steer the Association through the challenges that now appear on the horizon.”
