Armstrong Craven appoints new regional director for Asia Pacific expansion

Armstrong Craven appoints new regional director for Asia Pacific expansionGlobal talent mapping and pipelining specialist Armstrong Craven is planning the next phase of its international expansion.

The company has appointed Helen Coult as its new regional director for Asia Pacific to build on the year-on-year growth it has achieved since opening its Singapore office three years ago. Helen has over 15 years’ experience in executive search, recruitment and talent consultancy and has been with Armstrong Craven for just over three years, previously as senior global client partner for the company’s Consumer and Industrial division. She will continue to work with several her global clients alongside her new role driving growth for the wider business across APAC.

Helen’s appointment follows the announcement earlier this month that Armstrong Craven had made Olivia Wynn its first director for Switzerland with responsibility for its new Geneva office. She commented on her new appointment, saying: “This is a hugely exciting time to be moving to Singapore and I look forward to partnering with both global and Asian clients to put in place high quality talent acquisition strategies. Clients turn to us to ensure they identify and attract the best candidates for their senior and scarce roles.

“Major areas of work include diversity, not just gender but all facets, and helping businesses win the talent battle as disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics become ever more critical to the workplace.͟
Rachel Davis, Armstrong Craven’s deputy CEO, said: “We have built a strong reputation in the Asia Pacific region since opening our office in Singapore three years ago.

“We now want to further accelerate growth in the region working with both global and local multinational corporations (MNCs). The APAC talent market has matured considerably in recent years and we are seeing a strong appetite to take a more strategic approach to talent acquisition.

”Helen was the natural choice to become Director Asia Pacific. She already has a strong knowledge of the region and is fully attuned to the talent challenges and opportunities that exist. Our growth plans for APAC form a key part of Armstrong Craven’s wider global strategy of having a strong presence in all international hubs.”
