UK contractor accountancy firm Churchill Knight & Associates Ltd has just launched its own umbrella company – Churchill Knight Umbrella.
Churchill Knight Umbrella will be working with recruitment agencies across the UK to provide a hassle-free and compliant umbrella employment solution for temporary candidates across a variety of industries and sectors.
The inception of Churchill Knight Umbrella was in response to growing demand from recruitment agencies and the contractor industry for Churchill Knight to expand their services to include an umbrella service.
This new service will allow Churchill Knight to continue to offer its contractor accountancy service, in addition to providing a compliant solution for those contractors now caught by the IR35 changes in the public sector.
Company Director and Partner, John Payne, said, “Offering an umbrella service to contractors and temporary workers will allow us to further develop and strengthen our existing relationships within the recruitment industry, and to forge new ones. Churchill Knight Umbrella will not only enable us to better meet the needs of our partner agencies, but it will also help in ensuring their supply chains and their temporary workers are operating compliantly within all current HMRC legislation.”
The service provided by Churchill Knight Umbrella will include daily payroll, a mobile-friendly client portal, a dedicated account manager, pension enrolment, statutory sick and holiday pay, maternity and paternity pay, and business insurance including Professional Indemnity.
Churchill Knight has been providing specialist contractor accountancy services since 1998. Working with recruitment agencies across the UK, Churchill Knight aims to help agencies extend their service offering to their temporary candidates, whilst ensuring supply chains remain compliant and clients receive a high-level of customer service.
Churchill Knight’s umbrella company will join its long-running limited company service as part of the range of accountancy services offered by the Hertfordshire-based firm.
