The third Recruitment Agency Expo North will take place at the end of next month at Birmingham’s NEC.
The two-day event, the biggest of its kind for recruitment leaders in the Midlands and the North of England, will feature nearly 30 seminars covering the most important topics in the industry, plus 14 training sessions, and supplier demos and presentations.
Among the seminars taking place at this year’s event, Keith Rosser, of SAFERjobs, will outline measures being taken by the police and the recruitment industry to tackle job scams. Meanwhile, James Osborne, of Elite Recruitment Network, will explain why a number of recruitment organisations are significantly outperforming the market.
Broadbean’s Dan Martin will review the 2014’s recruitment trends, while Dave “Google” Hazelhurst will once again look at ways you can build your digital strategy.
The show is supported by all of the major trade associations, including the REC, IPSE, APSCo, TEAM and ARC, and representatives from these organisations will be among those presenting seminars.
They include Kevin Green, REC chief executive, who will explore how successful recruitment business attract and retain sought-after professionals. Also, Adrian Marlowe of the ARC will look at how to enhance the value of your business, while APSCo’s Sam Hurley will be providing an assessment of future regulation for the UK’s recruitment industry.
Interactive sessions in the Training Zone last 30 minutes and are free to attend. They offer bite-sized, best-practice training content to immediately implement within your recruitment business.
And if you are looking to grow your business, or thinking of starting a new firm, there will also be a wide range of exhibitors at the show, covering areas such as marketing, finance, technology and compliance.
