The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) is set to launch a new Legal Partners scheme to offer enhanced legal services to its members.
While the industry body already provides some free legal services, the new partnership will give members the opportunity to buy in support for employment tribunals, document reviews and the legal aspects of a tender. They will also be able to access other commercial, corporate, property and litigation services.
The services are to be provided by law firm Brabners Chaffe Street, and specialist debt recovery law firm, Francis Wilks & Jones.
REC’s head of legal services, Lewina Farrell said: “We’re delighted to be working with these law firms that will provide excellent services to supplement and enhance the REC’s legal offering to members.”
Paul Chamberlain, partner at Brabners Chaffe Street, added: “Our expertise in recruitment law is recognised nationally and makes us well placed to provide a comprehensive legal service which benefits both the REC and its members. We look forward to continuing to build on our relationship with the REC.”
