VMA Group announces new Associate Director

Corporate and marketing communications recruitment specialist VMA Group has announced the appointment of Melissa Pierson as the new Associate Director for its internal communications practice.

With Pierson’s appointment, VMA Group continues to move forward with another strategic addition to its senior team. Having left her previous firm to become one of VMA’s key hires this year, Melissa will be based in the London office and will be responsible for contributing to the growth of VMA Group‘s internal communications practice. Pierson will report to Andrew Harvey, Executive Director, VMA Group.

Commenting on her new role, Melissa said: “I’m delighted for the opportunity to be a part of such a globally renowned business during a time of growth. I look forward to joining the practice, bringing fresh ideas and expanding the company’s network further.”

Pierson has previously led recruitment divisions for marketing, communications and digital. With over eight years’ experience, she will join the largest internal communications practice in Europe bringing her knowledge, expertise and ideas to the team managing them from strength to strength.

Andrew Harvey added: “Melissa is a crucial appointment to the growth of the IC practice. As a specialist within the recruitment industry she will play an instrumental part in developing further opportunities for the business. Her combination of business acumen and recruitment experience makes her ideally suited to help VMA grow.”
