VMA Direct appoints new head of practice and consultants

VMA Direct, the entry- to mid-level arm of corporate communications recruiter VMA Group, has expanded with the hire of two new consultants plus a head of practice, James Attrell.

After 12 months of trading, VMA Direct is now on target to have a team of ten consultants by the turn of the year, and Attrell has been brought on board to manage this growth phase.

VMA Direct works across all sectors at the entry- to mid-level, and has already completed recruitment assignments for clients such as BBC, Waitrose, Network Rail and Selfridges among many others.

Julia Meighan, chief executive of VMA Group said: “VMA Direct was launched in the UK to offer our clients a suite of recruitment services more suited to their needs at the entry- to mid-level.

“The first twelve months have exceeded our expectations, and with the level of client demand continuing to rise at this level in the UK, we expect the aggressive expansion to continue throughout 2015.”
