Trustees Unlimited, the joint venture trustee recruitment company set up by NCVO, Bates Wells Braithwaite and Russam GMS, has appointed Cathy Kay to its board of directors.
The appointment comes just eight months after she joined Russam GMS as Associate Director of Executive Search. Cathy came to Russam GMS from Aspen Worldwide, an international executive search firm, where she specialised in technology. Previously, she held senior roles at Spectrum Technology Executive Search and Selection, McGregor Boyall and Fletcher Kay Executive Search, and spent her early career at advertising company Saatchi & Saatchi.
Cathy commented: “Part of the reason I was attracted to Russam GMS was the work it does connecting charities with professional people through Trustees Unlimited and Step on Board, the board-level volunteering programme run by Trustees Unlimited and the National Council for Voluntary Organisations.
“I am joining the board at an exciting time. The core trustee recruitment continues to go from strength to strength and 100 trustees have now been placed through Step on Board. New clients including Adobe Systems and Google have recently adopted the programme and other companies are in the pipeline. I’m looking forward to helping steer the company’s future growth.”
