Public sector executive recruitment and people development specialist GatenbySanderson has made three senior hires to drive growth.
Matt Gascoigne joins as Chief Operating Officer (COO), while Kate Pearlman-Shaw and Anthony Surley both join as Partners to build on the firm’s leadership and organisational development consulting services.
Matt has almost 20 years’ professional recruitment experience working with clients from both public and private sectors. As COO, Matt’s role is to provide strong operational focus and commitment to best practice for GatenbySanderson, and to ensure that clients and candidates continue to receive a first-class experience.
Meanwhile, GatenbySanderson’s leadership and development practice will be boosted by the appointment of its two new partners, who both bring a diverse mix of public and private sector experience.
Kate is an officially registered coach with the British Psychological Society and has worked on powerful and effective solutions for individuals, teams and boards. She also brings public sector management experience as Chair of Leeds Jewish Housing Association.
She will be responsible for developing the firm’s expertise in leadership and team development, while Anthony Surley will head up GatenbySanderson’s leadership and organisational development capabilities. He brings with him private and public sector experience in talent, learning and organisational development, leadership and management, as well as coaching and executive development.
Martin Tucker, Chief Executive, GatenbySanderson, said: “GatenbySanderson is committed to helping find, place and develop the leaders who will transform public sector organisations currently facing a wide variety of leadership challenges.
“Matt, Kate and Anthony bring unrivalled experience across the public and private sectors and we know they will be valuable assets for both GatenbySanderson and our clients who deliver valuable public services.”
