Thorn Baker appoints new operations manager

Recruitment firm Thorn Baker has appointed a new operations manager to lead its permanent division.

Neil Whiteside takes on the role at the national agency’s Nottingham office, with a focus on extending the engineering and sales teams, as well as developing new areas of the business.

Whiteside, who has worked in recruitment since 1998 in a variety of roles across the country, said: “I really enjoy everything about recruitment, from the sales element to the job satisfaction which comes with helping someone find their perfect career.

“My aims at Thorn Baker will be to contribute to the ongoing success of the company and to bring new ideas to the table as part of its growth plans.”
