Lucy Emery has been appointed the new branch manager of gap personnel’s Stoke branch. 

With over ten years’ experience in the industry and engineering recruitment sector, Emery (pictured) has managed branches in Stoke and Derby for other large national agencies.

The Stoke outlet won the Branch of the Year award at the 2007 gap personnel annual awards ceremony but has failed to repeat the feat since.

“I’m excited to join the team at the Stoke branch and I’m looking forward to making Stoke the number one branch in gap again,” Emery said.

Operations director Matthew Hull added: “Lucy is a key addition to the Midlands team and we are delighted that we have been able to attract someone with her talent and experience to gap.

“She knows the local market very well and will be an integral part of the Midlands senior management team as we launch ‘new Stoke’ into 2014 with a clear vision and strategy firmly in place,” he added.
