Recruitment specialist Sellick Partnership has moved to new premises on Pride Park in Derby, to meet growing demand for its services across the Midlands and South Yorkshire.
Nikki Graham, associate director of the Midlands team said: “It is a great time for our team to be moving to this new office.
“Confidence has returned to the jobs market over the past 18 months, with a wealth of opportunities arising in both the commercial and public sector for finance, procurement and project management professionals, and whilst we remained busy with temporary roles during the recession, we’ve seen a 35% rise in permanent roles since the start of 2014.”
This trend is in line with the findings from Sellick Partnership’s finance salary and market guide published last year, which anticipated a rise in financial roles across the Midlands. Sellick Partnership says that while there is a strong pool of candidates, there is stiff competition for the best talent available, and employers are now looking more closely at their salary and benefits package to ensure they remain competitive.
Spring 2015 will also see the opening of Sellick Partnership’s seventh office. Located in London, it will be the firm’s first premises in the South of England.
