Search Consultancy lifts off with new hire

Search Consultancy lifts off with new hireA former flight attendant will help Search Consultancy land the best candidates in the recruitment firm’s new dedicated aviation division in Manchester.

Susie Ives will lead the specialist recruitment department, working to develop the company’s already strong relationships with clients in the aviation sector, and focusing on finding high calibre candidates for a wide variety of jobs.

The Manchester aviation team – introduced in response to growing client and candidate demand – is an extension of an already strong division in Crawley. Team members will recruit across roles including passenger service agents, customer care agents, terminal and aircraft cleaners, ramp agents and baggage handlers.

Susie said: “We’re very excited about the launch of our dedicated aviation division in Manchester. It will provide us with the perfect opportunity to offer a bespoke, specialist recruitment service to our clients and will reaffirm our commitment to the aviation industry.

“The division will also reinforce that Search Consultancy is not a generalist recruiter – we’re a sector specialist across a wide range of industry areas.

“Search has worked successfully with the aviation sector for many years and the creation of this division in Manchester will ensure that we continue to do so for many more to come.”

Search recently successfully conducted a recruitment campaign to fill 465 vacancies at Gatwick Airport and many more high profile campaigns are planned for the coming months.

Debbie Caswell, Managing Director for Search Consultancy in England, said: “Having worked closely with the aviation industry for so long, this is the perfect time for us to enhance our offering and grow this specialist division. Susie brings a wealth of experience of the sector to this division and will ensure that our clients receive a first class service from Search.”
