Saxton Leigh appoints new manager of its risk division

Financial services recruiter Saxton Leigh has appointed Ben Carter-Fraser as the new head of its risk division.

Carter-Fraser has been with the firm’s risk department since 2011, before which he worked for the business’ sister brand, Compliance Professionals.

“We want to expand our traditional offering of operational, credit and market risk, and potentially explore new sectors related to risk management including IT and cyber security,” said Carter-Fraser.

“We are also looking to expand our presence within the insurance industry. Our main intention, however, is to continue the growth of our core markets both domestically and internationally.”

Marcus Courtney, managing director of Saxton Leigh, added: “Ben has worked incredibly hard since joining the firm and has developed some outstanding relationships with both clients and candidates. His intimate knowledge of the risk market is just one of his many qualities and I’m highly confident that he’ll lead the division to new heights in the future.”
