PMP makes strategic promotions as it prioritises growthPMP Recruitment, part of Cordant Group, has made several senior promotions as it embarks on the next stage of its overall strategy for brand development and growth.

Martyn Hicks has been named operational excellence director, whilst Darron Blewitt has been promoted to the role of regional director for the South East region.

Martyn joined PMP in 2009 and has more than 20 years of experience working in the recruitment sector. Previously an operations director, he has a wealth of knowledge and expertise implementing and managing several national sites. In line with PMP’s company strategy and its ongoing investment in the growth of its brand, Martyn will use his experience of transforming sites to embed a new culture of excellence within PMP.

As part of his remit, Martyn will be responsible for delivering operational excellence across all sites; managing second tier processes, compliance, auditing and commercials; and working closely with the company’s National Resource Centre to improve candidate attraction. In addition, he will launch an operational apprentice academy to drive team development and site performance, lead a new partnership plan across PMP’s current client portfolio, and manage the roll-out of the company’s HSE and compliance apps.

Darron has spent more than 16 years working within the managed service recruitment market. He joined PMP as a branch manager in 2014 and soon progressed to regional manager, where he was responsible for on-site and branch accounts across the Midlands and the South East, including major e-commerce and retail distribution centres. Darron will now take accountability for service delivery to PMP’s clients across the South East, whilst retaining responsibility for account development across key national clients.
